Poetry
We Hold Meaning by Kristine DeWitt
Falling in love with words intrinsically meaning, allegorically feeling, fundamentally reeling
Complex, layered, hypothetical imperative
Transformative
Burgeoning flower, self-indulgent imitations, acceptable connotations
Alluvium into my own being, flow inward, burbling
Transcendent
Proliferation fixation, interpretation infatuation, paralyzing preoccupation
In search to comprehend, interpret, decipher
Internalizing
Consumed with a hunger, esurient craving, famished for language
Ravenous, despising my ignorance, malnutrition in sources
Deficiencies
Doubting capacity for logic from patriarchal discourses, cognitive dissonance
Self-awareness shrouded, lack of acuteness surrounded
Subjudcation
We are here, not expectations, different gradation, translating
Equivalent feeling, saudade, being
Transposed
Questioning degree, eloquence and oratorical language, igniting writing impassioned
Lost on what I will be, my aging growing in me, will I be fungus or cheese
Affinage
Satisfaction, spontaneity, words running away with me
Incessant stampeding of concepts perceiving, significant meaning
Observed
Enveloping, encompassing, pursuing observational learning
Defending the knowledge I’m acquiring, my sanctuary
Fortifying
