⦁ Over time, eating should become more pleasant. Start out with soft and small foods. Try chewing on both sides to even out the pressure. Avoid foods that are extremely sticky or hard. You will want to avoid chewing gum, especially during the adjustment period.

⦁ You will eventually become accustomed to speaking properly with your denture. In fact, your speech may improve better than before. It is important to practice any words that are difficult.

⦁ Don’t do serious harm to your denture, and to your health, by trying to adjust or repair your denture. Using a do-it-yourself kit or store glues could destroy the appliance.

⦁ If your denture breaks, cracks or chips, or if one of the teeth becomes loose, call us. Many necessary adjustments or repairs can be made on the same day.
