Itzel Garcia

Itzel started off as a paid intern at Off Island Dental. The team loved her from the start. Itzel’s calling is to serve people & develop lasting relationships through oral health. She makes patients comfortable, especially the patients with high anxiety.

The daily responsibilities of her job include assisting the doctor in oral surgery, tooth extractions, and dental implants, just to name a few. During patient appointments, Itzel also focuses on scribing and preparing for the process of dental insurance and claims. When not with a patient, Itzel is busy sterilizing equipment and setting up for our next arrivals.

Being bilingual, is able to communicate effectively in Spanish. Itzel stays current in the dental industry by reading articles and watching YouTube videos. She is very passionate about doing great work and is always involved in the latest information in the dental industry.

When she’s not focusing on her career, Itzel has great fun with her two daughters. One of her favorite things to do is take the girls to the zoo. Itzel also enjoys spending time with her extended family on Hilton Head Island.
