NWOIFM Incident Qualification Review Committee (IQRC) Process: Complete Position Task Book (PTB) (including performance ICS225’s) are scanned and sent to local Training Officer.
Unit Training Officer reviews for completeness, then sends complete PTB and tracking form showing all required training and prerequisites are met to FMO and Line Officer for review and approval signatures. The Unit Training Officer then sends it into IQRC for review/certification. IQRC meetings are held monthly (3rd Wednesday of each month). PTB's need to be into your Unit Training Officer two weeks prior to meeting.
Once a PTB is agreed to be certified, the certification page is signed by NWOIFM Fire Staff, and the certification page is then sent back to the Unit Training Officer of the responder and then forwarded to the responder for their records. Responder has original task book and then takes the signed certification page and puts that with the original for personal training file. A copy of the certification page, decision page and evaluations are also put in the employee’s master training file at Springfield SIO.
Additionally, a new red card is created with the new qualification.
