Certification Process: Once all required training is completed and sent into your Unit Training Officer, a recommendation letter from your Line Officer will be sent to the Certifying Official to grant the qualification (BAES, BAEL, BADO, READ, REAC. REAF task book will go through NWOIFM Incident Qualification Red Card Committee (IQRC).

Resource Advisor Training Updates
The NWCG M-280, Resource Advisor, Fireline course is published to the NWCG Course/Training Catalog having been Certified 12/05/2025 with a Start Date of 06/13/2025. This new NWCG course has been added to IQCS . A responder training completion record on/after 06/13/2025 will award the M-280 training competency.
Curricula for 281, 380 are currently under development by NWCG and several READ SMEs--TBA
