Please contact the Lead Instructor if you are wanting to sign up for the course/refresher. It is a strong recommendation that anyone in Northwest Oregon District (NOD) considering participating is wildland or prescribed fire take this training to help share driving routine driving duties during long trips and 14-day assignments.
This course and annual refresher are requirements as a BLM employee who participates in wildland fire/ Prescribed fire assignments as a driver or holds a Engine Boss (ENGB) qualification.
NOD wildland apparatus includes Type 6 wildland engines and Type 4 wildland engines (also require CDL) as well as our command fire vehicles.
