What was covered today*

I reviewed with the students the explanation and memorization of Surah Al-Balad from Ayah 1 to Ayah 11.

I explained ayahs 12 through 16 of Surat Al-Balad and helped a student memorize them in class.

I thought them combined letters in arabic (lesson #2, pages 7, 8, and 9) using Noorani Qa'idah book.

Homework for the week*

Please review your child's memorization of Surat Al Balad from ayahs 1–16.

Also, review Arabic letters with your child using the Noorani Qa'idah book pages 7, 8, and 9.

What will be covered next week*

Inshallah, I will test your child's memorization of Surah Al-Balad from ayah 1 to 16.

I'll explain Ayahs 17 through 20 and help them memorize them in class.

Test each student in Arabic letters on pages 7, 8, and 9 using the Noorani Qa'idah book.

What was covered today*

I tested students on Surats Al-Lail and Ash-Shams.

The students did an excellent job and passed the test. I also tested them on ayahs 1–7 of Surat Al-Balad.

Insh Allah, next week, I'll explain from Ayah 12 to 16, and help them memorize them in class.

Review combined letters in Arabic (lesson 2, page 7) and teach them new combined letters in Arabic (lesson #2, page 8) using the Noorani Qa'idah book.

What was covered today*

1. Reviewed Surahs 1 and 114–91, as well as the first seven Ayat of Surah Al-Balad.

2. Tested students on Noorani Qa'idah; the results of the testing of the students are shown with initials of first and last names as follows:

Note: the purpose of the Noorani Qa'idah is to make students read the Quran by themselves..

Help your child prepare for the test, which will be held next Sunday (02/22/2026) on Surat Al-Lail and Ash-Shams.

What will be covered next week*

I will help students understand and memorize Surah Al-Balad's ayats 8 through 11.

I also plan on teaching Lesson 2 for the Noorani Qa'idah.

What was covered today:*

Reviewed Makharaj and Tajwid Rules of Surah Balad. We also imagined what our Jannah will be like, because we know that choosing the right path is sometimes hard. We still do it! InshaAllah, we will all be rewarded with Jannah.

Memorize Surah Al Balad and review for return of regular teacher next week.

I tested students on their memorization of Surahs 1 and 114 through 91, as well as the first seven Ayat of Surah Al-Balad.

I also explained Surat Al-Balad verses 1–7, as well as 7–14. Assisting students with memorizing ayahs 7-14.

Please go over with your child the memorization and explanation of ayahs 2 through 14. If you have any questions about the explanation of ayahs 1–14 of Surat Al-Balad 

please refer to the textbook.

What will be covered next week:*

Insh Allah, I will test your child on memorizing and explaining Surat Al-Balad's ayahs 1-14.

I will continue to explain and assist your child in memorizing new ayats in Surat Al-Balad.

We went over the first seven Ayats of Surat Al-Bslad today, and I helped the students learn them by heart.

Additionally, I talked about Allah's power in Surat Al-Balad.

On December 7, I reviewed with students the memorization of all previous surats; we began with Al-Fatihah, then surat #114 through surat #91.

We started a new surah #90 (Al-Balad). I provided an introduction to Surat Al-Balad, then explained to the students the two first Ayat and helped them memorize

Students need to review the introduction of Surah Al-salad and the memorization of the first Ayats.

What will be covered next week:*

Sub should explain ayats 3, 4, and 5 of surah Al-salad  and help students memorize them in class.

What was covered today:*

On November 23, I reviewed with the students' memorization of the previous ayats of Surat Shams.

completed the explanation of last three ayats of shams assisting students in memorizing them during Quran class.

During the  last ten minutes of Quran class, I discussed with the students the importance  of wudu.

Insh Allah, I'll be testing the student on the whole Surat shams.

I evaluated students' memorization of the first seven ayats of Surah Shams, which focused on Allah's creation and power. 

Then I explained and helped them to memorize the five new ayats of Surah Shams (ayats 8, 9, 10 , 11, and 12).

Students should review  the memorization of Surah Shams from Ayats 1 through 12 and understand Allah's message to His servants in surah Shams

Insh ALLAH, I plan to explain and support students in memorizing the remainder of the ayats of Surah Shams. 

I will be discussing the importance of Wudu if time permits.

Students were tested again on the entire Surah Al-Lail, as well as ayats 1–4 of Surah Ash- Shams.

 Two students will be teased on Surah A-lail. All students will be tested-on  the first 7 ayats of Surah Ash-Shams.

Today, I tested students' memorization of Surah Al-Lail and introduced them to Surah Ash-Shams. I explained and helped students memorize the first through fourth ayats of Surah Ash-Shams.

First, students must review their memorizing of Surat Al-Lail without making any mistakes. Second, review the memorization of ayahs 1 through 4 of Surah Ash-Shams. 

Last, answer the following question: what six creations of Allah (swt) are mentioned in Surah Ash-Shams in 3 pairs? Mention them in pairs

Today I reviewed the memorization of one of my student (kian) surah 1 and surah 93 through surah # 114.

I tested all of my students on their memorization of Surah Al-Lail, from Ayat 1 to Ayat 18.

Then I explained ayats 19 to 21. I helped students memorize the last three ayats of Surat Al-Lail.

Today we completed  Surah Al-Lail.

Inshallah, the next Quran class, students will be tested on memorization of Surah Al-Lail from ayah #1 to ayah #21.

I will cover a few applications of the message of Surat Al-Lail, and I will also cover questions on page 83 that are related to Surat Al-Lail.

What was covered today:*

I reviewed with the students the memorization of Surah Al-Lail ayats 1–16, which we had studied the week before, and then I explained and assisted them in memorizing Surah Al-Lail ayats 17 and 18.

Students will be tested next week on their memorization of Surah Al-Lal, verses 1-18.

What will be covered next week:*

Ayats 19, 20, and 21 from Surat Al-Lail will be explained and memorized.

Reviewed with student memorization of Surat Alfatihaas as well as Surahs 144 through 93.

I also completed the explanation and memorization  of Ayah 10 through 13 of Surat Al layl

Students should go over the memorization of Ayahs 1 through 13. Understanding the summary meaning of all 13 ayahs.

What will be covered next week:*

In addition to testing students on memorization of the all 13  Ayahs of Surat Al-Layl, I will explain and assist students in memorizing Ayah 14 through 17 of Surat Al-Layl.

What was covered today:*

During the class, we reviewed the explanation and memorization of ayats 1-4 from Surah Al Lail. Additionally, we covered ayats 5-10, and I provided individual assistance with an explanation and memorization.

Homework for next week:*

Please make sure to review the first 10 ayats of Surah Al Lail that we've covered over the past two weeks. Focus on achieving fluency in the memorization.

What will be covered next week:*

Inch Allah, next week we'll be moving on to new ayats from Surah Al Lail, specifically verses 11-14, where we'll delve into their explanations and memorization.
