NWICC has established an achievement program which is designed to motivate our students. Our school leadership has developed an honors requirement to recognize students who demonstrate excellence. This program is completely voluntary and all of our students will be honored on our celebration day whether or not they participate in this program. This is simply a special recognition for those who have worked towards our honors goal.
To achieve honors status students will need to pass two sets of exams created and administered by the principal. One exam will be given towards the end of the first semester in November, the other towards the end of the semester in April. Students will have 2 chances to pass each exam. The exams will cover the foundational information covered throughout the semester and can be either oral or written, depending on the class. The exams are between 20-25 minutes long and created and administered by the principal, not the teacher. Please encourage your children to participate and do their best. Whether they achieve the honors distinction or not, the process itself will be of great benefit to their weekend school experience Insha'Allah.
Check back here at the start of November for information about first semester of testing!
