Today we reviewed the Arabic alphabet - the shapes and pronunciations of each letter. We also reviewed the first page of combined letters in the Noorani Qa'ida to understand how letters sound and are spelled when combined with other letters.
Homework for next week:*
Students are asked to practice their Arabic alphabet. All students are expected to recognize all Arabic letters at random within the next two weeks. A short assessment will be given to them.

Next week In Shaa Allah we will start learning the Makharij Al-Huroof, the points of articulation, starting with Meen and Noon.
