For This Week...
Principal Mohamed El-Tayash subbed for the class this week, our normal IRG teaching staff will be here next week Insha'Allah.
General questions were taken from the students about subjects in Islamic studies that they had the most insecurity answering. Students were reminded that IRG does not focus on difficult theological questions and will mostly refer the audience to qualified Muslim scholars and speakers. However, a general discussion of some theological topics led to a productive hour of discussion and learning.
Some of the topics covered included:
How to answer the questions "Where is Allah?" and "Who is Allah?"
The importance of Dhikr (remembering Allah) in a Muslims daily life
The definition of the term 'Sunni' in Islamic theology
The regular IRG teachers should be returning this week Insha'Allah.
