Stephen Hawking es un científico mundialmente conocido, que hizo grandes avances y descubrimientos en cuanto al universo. Nació el 8 de enero de 1942 y murió el 14 de marzo de 2018. Stephen estudió ciencias naturales y se especializó en física.
Junto a su colega Roger Penrose, mostró que la teoría de la relatividad de Albert Einstein implica que el espacio y el tiempo han de tener un principio, que denominó "big bang",y un final dentro de los agujeros negros. Tanto los resultados como las técnicas usadas en la demostración marcan el inicio de una nueva era en relatividad general.
A mediados de la década de 1970 descubrió también que la combinación de las leyes de la mecánica cuántica y de la relatividad general desmentían incluso que los agujeros negros fuesen completamente negros, pues emitían una radiación, conocida desde entonces como "radiación Hawking".
Fue el autor de otros muchos descubrimientos importantes. Stephen fue un científico muy importante. A pesar de su enfermedad, supo revolucionar y avanzar el mundo de la ciencia. Gracias a él y sus teorías, hoy en día podemos conocer mucho más el universo.

Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking is a world-renowned scientist, who made great advances and discoveries regarding the universe. He was born on January 8, 1942 and died on March 14, 2018. Stephen studied natural sciences and specialized in physics.
Together with his colleague Roger Penrose, he showed that Albert Einstein's theory of relativity implies that space and time must have a principle, which he called "big bang", and an end within black holes. Both the results and the techniques used in the demonstration mark the beginning of a new era in general relativity.
In the mid-1970s he also discovered that the combination of the laws of quantum mechanics and general relativity even denied that black holes were completely black, because they emitted a radiation, known since then as "Hawking radiation".
He was the author of many other important discoveries. Stephen was a very important scientist. Despite his illness, he knew how to revolutionize and advance the world of science. Thanks to him and his theories, nowadays we can know much more the universe.
