Faking Fabric

Situation: Re-shape what we could do with ‘material’ and ‘fabric’ from clothing or MAKE and CREATE a series of new looking clothing

Discovery – What happens to unwanted clothing? Has it become a global issue? What could you do about it? Find some visual examples of what is happening

Interpretation – Analyse the information you have found and consider several ideas of what you could do about it

Ideation – Plan by making notes about how you could re-shape the problem OR sketch some ideas about what you could make

Experimentation – Write some sentences with information you could include in your response or collect a range of materials/fabrics and experiment with various options. Discuss with your Shape teacher

Outcomes – A personal written response or new clothing
