Since 2024, I am a Privatdozent at the Faculty of Science of the University of Zurich and since 2022, I am a Mathematics teacher at the Kantonsschule Trogen.
From 2022–2023, I was a visiting research scholar at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Zurich.
From 2021–2022, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics of the University of California, Berkeley in the research group of Nicolai Reshetikhin.
From 2020–2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Zurich in the research group of Alberto S. Cattaneo.
I have completed my Ph.D. at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Zurich under the supervision of Alberto S. Cattaneo in July 2020.
My research lies at the intersection of mathematics and physics, with a particular emphasis on the geometric and algebraic foundations of quantum field theory. I am especially interested in topological quantum field theories, local gauge theories, algebraic topology, symplectic geometry, and the role of higher categorical and homotopical structures in quantum field theory. Through this perspective, I aim to deepen our understanding of the interplay between geometry, topology, and quantum phenomena.
