Video Settings

Use the settings below to have your video output go to the main monitor for colour grading

Video Settings LG Monitor

For maximum colour quality

Goto LG

Monitor Settings>All Settings>Picture.Additional Settings>HDMI Ultra HD Deep Colour

Make sure it is enabled.

Audio Settings Stereo

Use the settings below to have your stereo sequence audio to the Genelec speakers. Volume on the monitor section of the Scarlett 18i20

Audio Settings 5.1

Use the settings below to have your 5.1 sequence audio to the Genelec speakers. Volume on the monitor section of the Scarlett 18i20

Menu>Preferences>Audio Hardware

Your sequence needs to be 5.1.

Select New>Sequence

Make sure your Video Settings (resolution, framerate etc) are correct.

Goto Tracks and use the following selections exactly as they appear below.

Copy paste the picture from previous sequence.

Now you should have a sequence with the following track assignments.


You can now add your 5.1 mix. If it has separate track files add in the order L, R, C, Lfe, Ls, Rs on tracks 1 to 6.


If you have a single interleaved 5.1 file you can add it on track 7.


In LSA627, 628, 604, 619 the 5.1 tracks will be routed to the correct speakers.


With you 5.1 mix added, and with the settings above you should be able to monitor and export in 5.1.

Still unsure? Download this 5.1 test file. Add it to the end of your timeline. It should be clear if you have the tracks correctly assigned to the speakers.
