「變奏，自然」
展覽簡介 Introduction
每一個社會發展歷程中，大自然與人類的關係層出不窮 — 既可二元對立，亦可兼容並蓄。近年來，隨著急遽的土地、基建發展，香港的自然環境亦因而急速轉變。在這個情形下，究竟我們應如何看待身邊的環境？對於城市的空間，抱著甚麼態度呢？
「變奏，自然」希望從相片出發，透視這個充滿「變奏」的時代中，香港自然環境衍生的不同的面貌，動與靜、靜與動，細嘗香港本地自然之美，同時思考這片土地的過去、現在及將來。
Nature and humans share a complex and multifaceted relationship throughout society's development. While dichotomy can exist, harmony and inclusion are also possible. During the past few years, Hong Kong's natural environment has undergone rapid changes due to rapid land and infrastructure development. How should we perceive our surroundings in this context? Should we approach urban spaces with a certain attitude?
Through photography, “Nature: A Natural Rhythm” explores the diverse aspects of Hong Kong's natural environment that have emerged in this era of “variations”. It aims to bring the audience to savor Hong Kong's natural beauty while contemplating its past, present, and future, from a dynamic to a tranquil perspective.
#1 以小見大
Nature Matters
圖中遠方清楚見到興建中的港珠澳大橋，相中左下角可見到兩隻小白鷺拍翼飛翔。在龐大的基建工程中，大自然中動物生存空間往往不受重視。這種「以人類為中心」的發展模式，實在發人深省。
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, which was under construction, can be seen in the distance. Two small egrets can be seen taking flight in the bottom left corner of the image. Amid massive infrastructure projects, animals in nature are often overlooked. There is something truly thought-provoking about this "human-centric" development model.

Floating Trash
由四方八面漂來的海洋垃圾，近年多次湧至本港多處海岸，留下種種痕跡。似乎，人類過度消費以及傾倒垃圾的習慣，使海洋生態蒙受不必要的代價。
Floating trash from different directions has left scars along the coastlines of Hong Kong. The over-consumption and dumping induced by human activities have been wreaking havoc on marine ecosystems.

#4 美麗背後
Behind The Beauty
2016年3月，大埔沙螺洞赫然出現一片「油菜花海」，市民爭相前來攝影。看似色彩鮮艷，背後卻隱藏著村民與發展商之間的角力，令原有濕地受到破壞。「發展」與「保育」的界線，彷彿愈來愈變得模糊…
It was in March 2016 that a "sea of rapeseed flowers" suddenly appeared in Sha Lo Tung, Tai Po, attracting crowds of people eager to take photographs. In reality, the vibrant colors masked a conflict between the villagers and the developers which destroyed the original wetland. It seems as if the line between "development" and "conservation" is becoming increasingly blurred...

#5 橋 Bridge
橋，不但可促進人與人之間聯繫，亦可以將人與大自然連繫。位於元朗南水圍的木橋，與周邊的濕地及河水渾然天然，成為遊人親近大自然的一道「橋樑」。
A bridge can not only connect people to people but also people to mother nature. The wooden bridge in Nam Sang Wai, Yuen Long, along with the natural wetlands and river, creates a natural, seamless connection, bringing visitors closer to nature.

#6 樹「屋」共融 Houses for Trees, Trees for Houses
在新界鄉郊，不時發現大樹盤踞在荒廢的屋子，為荒野帶來一點點綴以及一絲生機。 樹木與建築物本可以有共融關係，但反觀這個城市的管理者， 似乎失卻了這種對樹木的包容，「人」「樹」共融，到底何時才能成為真實的願景？
There are often large trees growing in abandoned houses in the rural areas of the New Territories, adding a touch of life and greenery to the wilderness. Buildings and trees can be symbiotic, but the city's management seems to have lost this sense of inclusiveness toward trees. Is it ever possible to see "human" and "tree" coexist in harmony?

#7 邊緣上的農地
Farmland at the Fringe
面對都市發展的壓力，新界的農耕環境正被土地發展及囤地所吞噬。毗鄰深圳的坪輋，擁有全港其中最大片的農地，種植香港僅存的本地蔬菜。環看邊緣，未來的命運會是如何？
The agricultural landscape in the New Territories is under pressure as a result of urban sprawl and hoarding. Ping Che, adjacent to Shenzhen, is home to one of the largest farmlands in Hong Kong, which cultivates the last of its local vegetables. Looking around the periphery, how will the future unfold?

#8 十面埋伏 Drowned
香港的中華白海豚曾為香港的吉祥物，然而今時今日，遊客「呃like」 也扼殺了他們的生存空間，「呃like」 背後亦潛伏著一個更大的威脅。除了呃like 之外，我們還能作什麼？難道我們只能在十年後「細味」他們從前的蹤跡？
The Chinese white dolphins were once Hong Kong's mascots. Nowadays, tourists are encroaching on their habitat in search of "likes," which is causing an even greater threat. Is there anything else we can do besides chasing "likes"? In the future, will we only be able to "savor" their traces from the past ten years?

#9 交椅洲 Kau Yi Chau
交椅洲，你也許不知道在哪裡，也許聞所未聞。但這正是（計畫中的）東大嶼都會的所在地。在這一大片填海而來的土地上，將會矗立着香港的第二個中心商業區。在填海而來的土地下，又是一個怎樣的景況呢？
Maybe you've never heard of Kau Yi Chau, or you don't know where it is. This is the site of East Lantau Metropolis, which will be built on this site. An expansive area of reclaimed land will be transformed into Hong Kong's second central business district. What lies beneath this reclaimed land, however, remains to be seen.

#10 野牛天堂 Paradise of Feral Cows
在新界多處地方及大嶼山，野牛蹤影處處。相片中的野牛，在上水塱原附近一條滿佈青草的引水道悠然自得，與前方高樓處處的深圳市，產生強烈對比。
Wild cattle are common across the New Territories and Lantau Island. A grazing herd of wild cattle leisurely wanders along a grass-covered water channel in Long Valley, Sheung Shui, creating a stark contrast to Shenzhen City's towering buildings.
