Barcelona, february 2020

Hosted by M&M Profuture Training in Cornella de Llobregat, members of the project's partner organizations landed in Barcelona to attend the second transnational meeting on 20-21 February. No transport strikes prevented the arrival of participants this time, and as a result, many more were able to attend the meeting than the first one in Dijon in December.

As in Dijon, the host organization had prepared a very comprehensive programme of meetings and workshops, very much focused on the issues of work-linked vocational education and training and behavioural skills.

The reception from M&M Profuture Training was very warm; participants who had been able to go to Dijon met again with obvious pleasure, and quickly included the newcomers. Each organization had prepared a presentation on how work-linked vocational training works in their country or region. All the information gathered that day was recorded in the project's Drive folder, to which all members have access.

Workshops on soft skills were also organized, the first one by M&M Profuture Training, and the other one by Talent Campus, invited by the GIP-FTLV de Bourgogne. These two workshops, both theoretical and practical, allowed the participants to approach and better understand the concept of soft skills and their importance in personal and professional interactions. Group exercises were carried out, in which various skills such as awareness of one's own needs and competences, as well as those of others around us, self-esteem, empathy, leadership, emotional management, teamwork, problem-solving, resilience and proactivity.

A database has been created on soft skills in the Drive so that each organization can include them in their teaching process and during mobilities.

M&M Profuture Training had the great kindness to invite all the participants to dinner in a typical restaurant in Cornella de Llobregat, where they had the opportunity to enjoy typical Catalan products and to strengthen the bonds of friendship and good understanding that are created in the course of meetings.

The first mobilities were organized, between Barcelona and Dijon on the one hand and Faro and Liepāja on the other, for the following month, but the unprecedented Covid-19 health crisis forced these organizations to postpone them. The GIP-FTLV de Bourgogne asked the Erasmus+ France Agency for an extension of the project, which was granted. Consequently, these mobilities will take place in the future (2021-2022 school year).
