Presentation (english)

The Erasmus+ project coordinated by the GIP-FTLV de Bourgogne "NEAR IN EUROPE: NETWORKING, AN EXPERIENCE FOR AN APPRENTICESHIP REINFORCEMENT IN EUROPE" was selected by the Erasmus+ France Agency in the 2019 Call for projects. The project involves VET organizations from four European countries (Portugal, Spain, Latvia and France).

It has set various objectives, such as promoting Europe to teachers and trainers in schools and training centres, as well as to young people for their future work placements and their families. A second essential point will be to work on networking techniques to create an operational and secure European network to establish long-lasting relationships. Finally, this project seeks to train and create pedagogical conditions and resources with a particular focus on "soft skills" (social competences) to support learners and all actors involved in European mobility in the workplace.

Overall, this project aims to experiment with new methods and create new resources that can be used by all the actors in the established network.

Duration of the project

Initially, the "NEAR in Europe" project was planned to run from September 2019 to the end of December 2021, alternating transnational meetings in different countries and mobilities of the apprentices. The project had to postpone the mobilities and meetings scheduled for Spring 2020 as a result of the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic at European level. The GIP-FTLV de Bourgogne requested an extension of the project until the end of August 2022, which was approved by the Erasmus+ France Agency. Meetings and mobilities have been redistributed according to this new end date.
