Prepositional phrases (PP) consist of a preposition followed by one of four possible types of phrase.
Prepositions govern the prepositional case, marked with -n/-ēn when the complement is a noun or adjective.
The four possible structures are:
A noun phrase in the prepositional case
An adjective phrase in the prepositional case
An adverb phrase
A verb phrase (usually in the infinitive form)

Preposition + Noun Phrase (Prepositional Case)
atas pizan → "on the table"
Preposition + Adjective Phrase (Prepositional Case)
ten zerenēn → "in green"
Preposition + Adverb Phrase
emik khūbes → "until tomorrow"
Preposition + Verb Phrase (Infinitive)
ku arditu → "for walking"
