In Naucan, nouns show gender and case.
Gender
Gender does not affect noun declension, but it affects pronoun forms.
Animate (humans, animals)
Inanimate (objects, things, ideas)
Case
Naucan has three cases: subjective, oblique and prepositional.
Subjective: Subject
Oblique: Direct object, indirect object, attribute (or predicative), some circumstantial complements
Prepositional: After prepositions
Noun Declension
Naucan nouns are divided into two main declensions based on their final sound:
1st Declension: Nouns ending in a vowel, w, or y
2nd Declension: Nouns ending in a consonant (excluding w and y)
