1.Origin

Pero Dowerg-Schomber was born and raised in Ulm, Armbruster, to parents Hanna and Stefan Dowerg-Schomber. His mother was a biologist, and his father was an environmental engineer, which fostered his early interest in environmental issues. Growing up in a family deeply committed to conservation and sustainability, Dowerg-Schomber developed a passion for nature and environmental protection from a young age. He attended Ulm High School, where he excelled in science and environmental studies.             

2.Pfofessional Career

Dowerg-Schomber pursued higher education at the University of Ulm, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. He continued his studies with a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the Armbruster Institute of Environmental Studies. During his academic career, Dowerg-Schomber was actively involved in various environmental research projects and community initiatives focused on conservation and sustainability.

After completing his education, Dowerg-Schomber began his professional career as an environmental consultant for a leading environmental consultancy firm in Ulm. His expertise in environmental policy and his innovative approach to sustainability quickly earned him recognition. Dowerg-Schomber was soon promoted to senior consultant, where he worked on numerous projects aimed at improving environmental management practices and promoting renewable energy.

Dowerg-Schomber's success in the private sector led to his appointment as the Director of the Ulm Environmental Protection Agency. In this role, he oversaw the development and implementation of regional environmental policies, focusing on conservation, pollution control, and sustainable development. His efforts significantly contributed to the improvement of environmental quality and the promotion of green initiatives in the region.

3.Political Career

Pero Dowerg-Schomber's political career began with his election to the Bundestag in 2010 as a member of the Green Party. His platform emphasized environmental sustainability, conservation, and renewable energy. Dowerg-Schomber quickly became known for his advocacy on environmental issues and his ability to build bipartisan support for green initiatives.

In 2016, Dowerg-Schomber was appointed as the Deputy Minister for the Environment, where he played a crucial role in advancing the government's environmental agenda.
