I use specialised translation tools to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency across all projects.

Computer‑assisted translation (CAT) tools support the translation process by helping maintain consistent terminology, streamline workflows and improve project management. They also allow for accurate word counts and analysis, contributing to transparent and cost‑effective quotations.

When available, existing translation memories and glossaries can be integrated into the workflow, ensuring consistency across projects and avoiding unnecessary repetition.

My main working tool is SDL Trados Studio, and I also work with other professional platforms such as memoQ, Memsource, Across, and custom client‑specific environments. I remain flexible and open to working with different tools to meet the requirements of each project.

CAT tools and translation memories

Translation memories (TMs) store previously translated segments so they can be reused in future projects. This helps maintain consistency across texts - especially in long‑term or ongoing work - while reducing repetition and improving efficiency.

Their use also supports accurate terminology management and contributes to a more streamlined, reliable and cost‑effective workflow.
