You are welcome to perform any pieces of music which show your singing / playing at its best.
In this performance, try to get as close as possible to the two main criteria:
1. A performance lasting more than 8 minutes
If your programme is currently shorter than 8 minutes, and if you can do so, add easier music to reach 8 minutes and gain a higher mark.
If you have learned only part of a piece, nonetheless include this music in your programme, and play or sing what you can.
2. A performance which is Grade 8 (or higher) in difficulty
If you can't yet play Grade 8 music, don't worry - get as close to the grade 8 level as you can.
Try to choose music which is identified as Grade 8 or 9 (or your current highest working grade) on the Edexcel Difficulty Levels Sheet or ABRSM, Trinity or Rockschool exam syllabus.
Recommended levels of difficulty: AS: Grade 7 (More Difficult), A level: Grade 8 (More Difficult)
