My Sound Composition was put together entirely of recycled sound clips from our Ambient Piece. I only used 8 of the 15 gathered sounds, but these were my favorite and, in my personal opinion, the most melodic. I layered them in a specific way so that they contribute to a build up in the middle of the track and then a crash towards the end. The track also fades in and out to further the effect of linear time. It's not a loud piece, by any means, but I think it does a good job of turning random sounds into a sort of purposeful composition. I also used very short snippets of certain recorded pieces so that I could take one single noise and repeat it many times to add to the build up.

My sound composition was put together by sounds in my room to create a linear feeling. I put together sounds from my morning routine and played them overlapping each other with a constant sound in the back. I used six sounds and I tried to display them so that it would feel like the sound is building up to something then drops off completely back to the constant noise then to nothing at all. For the constant sound I used the background noise of the shower running then included various other sound snippets that repeat and fade away as the composition progresses. My goal was to create a linear sound and make the noises seem like they are leading up to a point. Overall I feel as though I achieved what I was going for and am happy with the way these sounds turned out all put together as a sound composition.

My sound composition was made up of a variety of sounds we collected while producing our Ambient Piece, the use of the construction creates a loud and consistent beeping sound that leads up to a climax of noise stimulation. Leading up to this point in my composition a combination of the boiler room, water fountain, music, construction and fan combine to create a peaceful leadup with snippets of whats to come towards the end. The goal of this was to create a sense of lead up to a succession of rapid loud sounds.

My sound composition is made from multiple sounds from the Ambient Piece and it mainly focuses on the fountain in between Millis Hall and Wanek. I used sounds like the dryer in Millis Hall and the shower running to give off the ambient affect. The music builds up from the start and fades out into silence by the end. The noises that were put together make up the piece because the noises tie together with the fountain that runs from the start. There was also soft speaking and noises from the Great Day Bakery and chess pieces from UC2. Those noises were short but added a lot to the piece.

My sound composition is made from almost all new sounds except for one I used from our ambient piece. I got all of my sound from different objects in my room. I used things from water bottles to simply just dragging my sneakers across the floor to make certain sounds. I tried to create a build up throughout my piece. I gradually raised the pitch of sounds until it eventually reached it's maximum pitch. All of my sounds weren't very long but I feel like they did their job and worked together quite well.
