Our playlist starts out in the first section of Hevner's Mood Wheel with the song Faithfully by Journey. We thought it fit perfectly as a spiritual and well known song. It's also awe- inspiring and causes most people who know it to recognize it. The second song is Let You Down by NF, which is a deeply contemplative track where he reflects on his life from his childhood. For the third song, we put Nights by Frank Ocean. Nights is a slower song and we think it definetly passes as dreamy. It has a beat switch that brings out the "sentimental" part because of the lyrics and story being told. The fourth track is Wasting Time by Brent Faiyaz featuring Drake and The Neptunes. This song is more upbeat and lyrical from Nights but still tranquil and soothing. It has a steady beat that would classify as satisfying and leisurely. The fifth track is from Afroman and truly signifies a light hearted and funny song. It revolves around the mood wheel and is a great song to put people in a good mood. I used to listen to it before hockey games and it always lit up everyone's faces in the locker room. The sixth track is an unmistakable hit from Mariah Carey because it's joyous and brings people together around the holidays. I don't think there is another song that brings people together the way this song does. The seventh is In Charlotte by Young Dolph which is a funny song and is up lifting. I put this song in the playlist because I my older brother's college roomate and I always recite the lyrics when we see each other. The eight track is from the movie Tron, which is a sentimental movie involving the relationships between a father and his son. The sound track is completely designed by Daft Punk, and this song carries immense energy and a majestic feeling with it.
