Intro- A quick but steady, climbing beat. A snare drum is present and some symbols, it's a smooth drum solo as the intro. Full and Colorful Texture.
Verse 1- Stevie is singing softly just noises, no words, and then transitions into the set up for his chorus. Essentially laying the groundwork for his hook and the catchiest part of the song.
Chorus- Very up beat, Stevie's voice is straining, and he outlines the memorable part of the song here. He begins the chorus with the title of the song, and concludes it suddenly to transition to verse 2.
Verse 2- Obviously different words, but conveying the same meaning. It's still on a more relaxed tone than the chorus, and the melody is more constant. The Rhythm picks up more so through the chorus's than the verses.
Chorus 2- A repetition of the first chorus, obviously, but again he is adding toward the climax of the song, and does so by adding another sound that we haven't yet heard.
Bridge- Stevie goes back to the sounds that we hear in the beginning of the song that are not recognizable as words. This is setting up the ultimate chorus, and the climax of the song. It's catchy, but unique Stevie Wonder.
Chorus 3- We know what to expect, but his voice is even more strained and the notes are even further stretched out. It gives you that final fulfillment feeling that you were waiting for the whole song.
Verse 3- The best verse yet, as it leads to the outro and begins wrapping up the song. He repeats the same title a few times to drive the point of the song home.
Outro- Stevie sings in the background and all of the instruments play in the background, in classic stevie style. The song wraps up with a slow fading outro and, again, the repetition of the title.
