Music is something that has always been a part of my life. I've never been talented musically, but it has always found a way to enhance whatever situation that I'm in. I have an older brother who is a self taught guitar player and I always love to sit and listen to him. It started out with guitar hero and eventually he wanted to move on to the real thing. Ever since watching him then, I've been a huge music person. It started off with mostly rap music, as he was three years older than me, so I was always listening to things that I shouldn't have been listening to. I'm from Pittsburgh, so for as long as I can remember, I've been a huge Mac Miller fan. I don't exclusively listen to rap music though. I love country music, and my favorite artist of all time is John Mayer. I eventually was lucky enough to see him in concert, but only after attending to Travis Scott's and Juice WRLD's shortly before his passing. I've been to a few country concerts as well, my favorite being Morgan Wallen's. Country music is easily one of my favorite genres, if not my favorite. I didn't grow up in an environment that can relate to it, but a lot of the ideas and morals that are conveyed through the music are relatable in themselves. Even strictly through the feeling I get when listening to country music, there is a sense of comfort thats present in it. Coming from an Italian family, however, I listen to a lot of Frank Sinatra and also occasionally Jazz music, but that's almost exclusively with my dad. I'm almost always listening to something, even if I'm studying or reading. I listen to predominantly rap music when hanging out with friends, but I listen to country music more than any other genre. I especially enjoy hits from the early 2000's as well. My music taste is undoubtedly scattered, but there aren't many kinds of music that I don't enjoy. Music plays a huge role in who I am today.
