About Me
Hey, my name is Keegan Taylor and I am a sophomore from Boston Ma. I have always loved listening to music when I’m doing most things. For example, going to the gym and listening to music with earphones or driving in my car I am always listening to music. When I am with my friends we listen to music most of the time together as well. It almost feels weird or odd if I am not listening to music in these situations because I am so used to it at this point. I have also grown up listening to music around the house because of my parents. My dad was always listening to the specific music he enjoyed around the house. Having an older sibling also surrounded me with music at a young age. She also played the violin when she was younger so I would always be hearing that in the house. My music taste when I was younger was definitely different than it is right now. At a young age, I was more into the songs that would play on the radio, like all of the hip hop and pop songs that were popular at the time. I was never really super into finding my own music until I got a bit older. Currently and for the past five to six years I have been mostly into rap and house or EDM music. Mostly house music when I was out with my friends and I would fall more onto the rap side when I was listening to music by myself. All of my friends have pretty similar music tastes to me so it creates a nice environment when we are all listening to music together. On occasion, I do listen to country music as well, mostly during summertime. I adopted this after living in Texas for a few years and now going to school in North Carolina. In essence, I would like to think I have a pretty broad music taste and can listen and tolerate most genres and songs.
