After 1930 (Solvay) and until the late sixties, Bohr has been unanimously considered the winner of his debate with Einstein. Later, both among physicists and philosophers, Bohr has …“brainwashed a whole generation of physicists into thinking that the job was done 50 years ago” (Gell-Mann 1976). I will try to show that, despite its problems, we need a more balanced evaluation of his philosophy.
