IMPLEMENTATION

• Run initial training session for teachers, followed by a 1 term pilot (Summer 2016) where Google Classroom is used with Year 9 & 10 classes.

• Launch Classroom for all years in September 2016.

• Template Sites distributed to Heads of Department in July 2016 - to be populated during the course of 2016/17.

• Google Classroom/Sites to run alongside Firefly for 1 year to allow teachers to make the transition and to migrate materials from the VLE.

• Regular professional development during this year, including online guidance, small group sessions and time in staff meetings.

• Firefly to be turned off in July 2017.
