It's very easy to get over-excited by shiny new 'toys' or exciting apps and to think they will transform the way you and your pupils work.


Excitement in itself is a good thing, of course but, if it's not properly focused, it can be counter-productive and it can lead to a huge amount of wasted time and money.

It's possible to follow the steps on your own and to reach a suitable conclusion but you'll probably find it much easier to work with a colleague or two so you can discuss your ideas and perhaps challenge your initial assumptions.
