Technological/Task-Based Labs are labs that involve manipulation/use of different forms of technology. They largely depend on logical reasoning and complex thought and skills. They can be used for identifying an unknown chemical using a series of tests, construction of a pond, creation of an eco-friendly model house. You would use this lab to tie many different skills and concepts into one summative lab. These labs allow students to apply ideas to new concepts/contexts through the use of procedures and logic.
