The Biology standards described below are designed to provide students with a deep understanding of living systems on Earth. In the documents below, I have outlined both the Virginia SOLs for High School Biology and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for High School Life Science. I have also provided the links to the VDOE Standards of Learning, the VDOE Curriculum Framework, and the NGSS Standards.
