Illustrative

Illustrative experiments can also be categorized as demonstrations by the teacher, most of the time. Students can also take part in illustrative labs, however they usually involve complex procedures/topics. Example illustrative labs include: osmosis by curing eggs in different solutions, extract DNA from strawberries, dissections. This lab can be used in order for the teacher to demonstrate to the students a complex experiment that they may not be able to do by themselves.
