Skill Development

Skill development labs are designed to teach students scientific skills. These skills can range from simple to complex, and adhere to a certain protocol that will be taught through this lab. With these labs, you can teach topics such as: preparing microscope slides, gel electrophoresis, Punnet squares, designing an experiment, genome sequencing. These labs are designed to increase students' confidence, comfort, or competence using a real world practice example. The skills that students will be learning are skills that scientists use in their professions.
