Argumentation Activity

Argumentation in the science classroom has the students exploring and analyzing arguments that they create in groups, or that have been created for them. This technique seeks to help the students learn how science operates through the creation, critique, and evaluation of arguments. Argumentation activities are often aimed to increase scientific literacy through the gathering of sources to back their arguments.
