Welcome to the Special Features section of the MrSuperphil Picture House.
This is where you’ll find extra content beyond the regular reviews — including top tens, rankings, written reviews, news, thoughts, lists, seasonal features and anything else from the Picture House that doesn’t quite fit into the main review sections.
Think of it as the bonus features menu: a place for opinions, recommendations, updates and special articles celebrating classic cinema, cult television and timeless entertainment.
Halloween picks, Christmas viewing, horror nights, themed recommendations and special Picture House features.
With the summer heatwave maybe a good film to watch would be the classic 'The Day the Earth Caught Fire' (1961). Be a good idea for a review sometime.
Short written reviews, quick thoughts and ratings for films, TV shows, books and board games I’ve watched, read or played but haven’t yet covered in a full video review.
Channel updates, film and television news, Doctor Who discoveries, release announcements and thoughts on what’s coming next.
Been a bit slow recently with my reviews, moving house and working on the website, but getting back into the swing of things.
Look out for a review of 'You Only Live Twice' (1967).
Lists, countdowns and rankings covering films, TV shows, actors, directors, monsters, franchises and more.
coming soon
A look at upcoming reviews, planned videos, future website updates and what’s next for MrSuperphil.
Thinking of doing more Classic Doctor Who reviews from the old show (1963 - 1989) (Maybe I should have started from the first story on worked my way through them all).
Also more Universal monster movies. Probably The Mummy (1932) or Son Of Frankenstein (1939) will be next for Universal.
Hammer films will continue to get reviewed. Maybe the underated To The Devil A Daughter (1976) would be a good one to look at.
The Amicus anthology films will also continue with the classic Tales From The Crypt (1972).
also more AIP films, Bond, Hitchcock, television shows, and much much more 😀💀
Leave your suggestions in the box provided (Picture House Suggestion Box section). Cheers everyone.
