Welcome to Bones’ Balcony — the spookiest seat in the MrSuperphil Picture House.
This is where Bones shares recommendations, hidden gems, favourite films, horror picks and the occasional cheeky comment from the best seat in the cinema.
Whether it’s a Hammer Horror favourite, a forgotten cult classic, a creepy old TV episode or something strange from the archive, Bones is always ready with a verdict.
Not for the easily shocked, or offended. (or Woke).
A selection of films, TV shows, worth checking out.
Try out Doctor Who. The old show, not that new woke crap. Tom Baker is the best doctor, this is how the show should be made.
Classic horror, gothic favourites, monster movies and creepy recommendations from the Picture House balcony.
Try watching The Wicker Man (1973). Great film. Love the scene where Britt Ekland is dancing about with nowt on, flashing her tits and slapping her arse.
The films and shows that Bones thinks deserve a permanent place in the Picture House.
The best horror film of all time is The Skull (1965). Took me years before I could get Phil to review the bugger. It was one of my best performences in a movie, playing the skull. Was great to meet Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, had a right old laugh together.
“I’ve been sitting in this balcony for years… and I still say the old horror films have the best atmosphere.”
"Ingrid Pitt had great tits"
"Glad RTD has left - (sacked). He was bloody useless making Doctor Who. Stick with ya queer shows mate, and leave Doctor Who alone".
