The 1980s were packed with unforgettable cinema, from action heroes and fantasy adventures to horror sequels, science fiction classics, slashers, thrillers and big-screen blockbusters.
This section brings together my reviews from a decade of bold ideas, memorable characters, practical effects, iconic soundtracks and pure entertainment.
The 80s made one of my all time favourite films - The Empire Strikes Back (1980), even better than Star Wars.
It was also the decade of the Video Nasties, with lots of slasher films being made.
Might be my 3rd favorite decade, just behind the 60s and the 70s.
