By the end of each week you should/would have learned a few things in order to move your research paper forward. Keeping a reflection of the weeks activities and lessons, steps towards your paper, data gathered, and new knowledge will assist you in our journey.
Use the paper to the right to help guide your reflections.
For Reflection #1 Only
Your first reflection should be your impressions of the class AFTER hearing about it the first week from Mr. Mathos AND reading 3-4 Welcome letters that were created for you by previous research students. Thats it!

For this presentation, your group (2 people) will become “experts” in your assigned method. The final presentation must include the following elements in a well-crafted power point presentation that will be between five to eight minutes (Ignore the bonus point and materials section)
Handouts and powerpoints to help with the creation of the Research Method/Design presentation. Don't forget that outside resources are/can to be used as well.
The next step will be to define your research design and research method. What design should you use to best inform your research? What method would work best with what you have available? What is the dang difference between design and method? (Oh yes, there is a difference).
Know the difference so your method and design better align with your research question.

If it is done well, you will be approved to continue your research paper.
If it is NOT done well, and or things do not make sense.... its back to the drawing board for you.
