My Careers in Ag Lesson Plan demonstrates my ability to support student career development. This lesson plan shows how I help students explore agricultural careers and connect their interests to future job opportunities. It includes activities that guide students in researching careers, understanding workforce trends, and learning about the education and training needed for different roles. Students develop and maintain personalized career plans that guide their educational and career decisions. This plan also includes resources for job searching and planning for postsecondary options. I plan on using this lesson to help students make informed choices and prepare for successful careers in agriculture.

This material shows how I provide students with real-world learning experiences that build technical skills and expose them to careers in meat science and the broader agriculture industry. It includes activities that help students understand industry standards, develop job-ready skills, and learn about educational and career pathways. Students have access to a variety of experiences that support their career exploration and development, such as work-based learning, internships, and hands-on competitive events. The material also helps students explore career options, develop workplace readiness skills, and make informed decisions about their future in the agriculture and food industry. I plan on using this material to help students gain meaningful experience and prepare for future success in agricultural careers.
