My Professional Development Plan illustrates my ability to be prepared while also being an effective CTE professional. This plan showcases my 3-year plan that covers student teaching and my first two years as an Agricultural Educator. Specifically, this plan shows that I can demonstrate leadership and commitment to the CTE profession. Additionally, it shows my plan for being actively engaged in ongoing professional development to enhance my knowledge and skills in my CTE program. I will utilize this plan throughout my early years of service by continuously updating and fine-tuning how I want my teaching experience to grow and expand.

Being OSHA certified illustrates my ability to be an effective CTE professional. Being certified shows that I have the proper knowledge to keep students safe in the classroom and the lab setting. The certification also demonstrates my leadership abilities and commitment to the CTE profession. Additionally, it shows that I am able to actively engage in ongoing professional development to enhance my knowledge and skills in CTE. I will use this in my Ag program to ensure that our environment is a safe place for learning to occur.
