Sequencing & Articulation
My Program of Study shows that I can implement effective program sequencing and articulation aligned to Agricultural Education standards. Specifically, this artifact shows I can implement a well-defined sequence of courses that build upon each other, incorporating technical skills, academic knowledge, and employability skills by implementing these things in the classes that are offered. I am also able to exhibit content and standards that are aligned across all levels of the program, minimizing redundancy and ensuring smooth transitions. I will apply these ideas to my Ag Ed program by ensuring that each class aligns with the standards that are essential for student learning and development. Additionally, the classes that are offered will correlate directly with the available career pathways.
My Program Components Analysis demonstrates my understanding of Sequencing & Articulation in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. This analysis illustrates I was able to observe how programs progress from foundational knowledge to more specialized skills and in-depth learning. While observing multiple agricultural education programs, I was able to discover programs of study that include a well-defined sequence of courses that build upon each other, incorporating technical skills, academic knowledge, and employability skills. I will apply the ideas that I observed from these schools to my agricultural education program by implementing the key components that I found successful from other educators.
