Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)
My Program Handbook explains how Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) will be a key part of my Agricultural Education program. I will use FFA and other leadership opportunities to help students build career skills and grow as individuals. The CTSO is an integral part of the CTE program and will be accessible to all students. FFA and similar experiences are important to me because they give students hands-on learning that connects to what they’re doing in the classroom. The CTSO provides opportunities for students to connect with industry professionals through events and competitions. I plan to include FFA and similar opportunities in my program to help students grow, learn, and prepare for their futures.
My FFA Banquet Plan fits the Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) standard by giving students leadership opportunities and real-world experience. Through planning and hosting the banquet, students will build important skills like event management, communication, and teamwork. The CTSO is a key part of the CTE program and will be available to all students. The FFA banquet allows students to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to a real event. It also gives students the chance to connect with industry professionals, school leaders, and the community. I plan to include the FFA banquet in my program to help students develop skills and prepare for their future careers.
