Work-Based Learning
My Work-Based Learning Legal and Safety Plan demonstrates my understanding of Work-Based Learning (WBL). Specifically, this document illustrates how I will incorporate WBL into my CTE program. This document was created in my FFA class and covers steps to ensure student safety, steps to address liability with the students and the school, and my supervision plan to monitor student safety. WBL is important to me because it provides students with opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings. WBL experiences are also conducted in a safe and supervised environment, with clear guidelines and procedures in place to ensure that students are working in a safe place. I plan to incorporate WBL into my Ag Ed program to provide experiences for my students that go beyond the classroom.
Work-Based Learning Legal and Safety Plan
My SAE for All Certification shows that I can implement Work-Based Learning (WBL) in my agricultural program. I will help students gain real-world experience and develop important skills like problem-solving and leadership. I will also connect with agricultural businesses and professionals to create mentorship and job opportunities. Additionally, I will provide appropriate support and guidance to students throughout their WBL experiences. Finally, WBL experiences are aligned with individual student learning goals and career aspirations. This means that my approach will be student-centered to allow them the most meaningful opportunities. My SAE for all Certification provides me with the proper knowledge to be able to implement WBL in my program.
