The Minnesota Pharmacists Association (MPhA) is a state professional association made of pharmacists, pharmacy students, pharmacy technicians, and industry professionals. The mission of MPhA is to advance patient care by serving Minnesota pharmacists. This includes playing an active role in policy and advocacy through Legislative Day during the spring semester. On this day, the pharmacy community, including students, rallies together and pays a visit to legislators at the Capitol in St. Paul. MPhA strives to promote the pharmacist as an integral member of the healthcare team and raise public awareness of all that pharmacists have to offer. Additionally, MPhA provides networking opportunities for members with their main event: the Annual Meeting each fall - October 6th this year! This two-day gathering is filled with esteemed speakers, cutting-edge seminars, and plenty of time to mingle. MPhA also offers members free monthly webinars that cover emerging topics in pharmacy and healthcare called Virtual Coffee Breaks. Truly a nice break from studying and a great way to stay informed and explore issues affecting our profession.
