The Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO) is the students' connection to the exciting careers of working in the pharmaceutical industry. Pharmacists entering into the pharmaceutical industry have an amazing range of career options including clinical drug development, running world class trials, policy regulations, and marketing of life-saving medications. Helping you start to explore this amazing industry are your IPhO chapters! We have a network of local and regional pharmacists that are working in the pharmaceutical industry and pair you with them for mentorship so you can learn what their careers are like and build your network. Our chapters also hold informational sessions about starting a career in industry, coordinate with companies for our members to attend local drug dinners, and most importantly, grant you access to the national IPhO website. This website has links to pharmacy internships in the pharmaceutical industry, job postings for companies, and hours of videos and free materials you can use for interviewing and preparing for fellowships and postgraduate programs, preparing you to start an amazing career in the pharmaceutical industry. New this year, the IPhO chapters are working to develop an elective directed studies course that gives students an introduction to the pharmaceutical industry and the various roles a pharmacist can have in these companies.
