Physical Description: Like his father, Rune took on a glamour a few months after he was born, which has stayed pretty consistent throughout his life; tall, lanky, with jet-black hair and sapphire-blue eyes. However, when he was a young boy, he was undergoing weapons training and took a nasty knock to the left temple; from then on, his left eye is the unmistakable blood red of a Jotun.

Powers:

Sorcery: Practically from infancy Rune has been learning the magical arts at his mother's elbow, and picking up knowledge where his father allowed. He has great aptitude for illusions and portals, but some of his offensive spells have undesired outcomes at times. He's working on it.
Weapons training: Rune has trained from a young age in hand-to-hand combat and generally prefers to go unarmed, but of course keeps a small count of throwing knives close at hand if it's necessary. He has pinpoint accuracy over fairly good distances in spite of slight depth perception issues with his left eye.
Asgardian/Frost Giant physiology: From his parents, Rune inherited the enhanced strength, speed, stamina, endurance and healing of one of his racial makeup. However, unlike his parents, he does not possess their functional immortality, as he has yet to have his first taste of the golden apples. He isn't sure if he wants to.

[ Original Character ]

Rune was created to have hailed from Earth-555326, a world first seen in the cartoon movie Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow. In this movie, the children of the Avengers are kept safe by Tony Stark when Ultron wiped out their parents and left the world a veritable wasteland. Raised in a secluded corner of Asgard, the son of Loki and Amora was meant to arrive with great fanfare and save the world, but he was ultimately a little too late -- the Next Avengers had done that for him, defeating Ultron and putting down his robot army which controlled the world. Left without a purpose, Rune began exploring possible realities, investigating and untangling the threads of fate that wove reality.

He is compatible with basically any reality, Marvel or DC, whatever the mood strikes. He's also a complete lil shit.

Has an on-again-off-again romance with a version of Tony and Pepper's daughter Morgan, in a skew reality where Thanos did win, and nobody came back to stop him. It's a sucky reality but Morgan's pretty, so he visits when he can.
