In our community, even though most of us are Christians, some of us still follow some traditions, beliefs and especially at times of marriage, baptism, healing and many other strange beliefs.

One of the most unique and incredible ways of healing the Yogad is called -Dakit a boat ritual healing, while singing and dancing the ritualist. The Yoad's believed that the deceased people are the reasons that some people get sick.

If the spirit has been caught causing the illness, it will be placed in a miniature boat made by the healer and then floated on the river which is believed that with the help of floating the boat on the river.

 The evil spirit that is the cause of the illness of a person who wants to be healed can also be driven away with the help of this ritual boat healing called-Dakit. 

Which shows the deep connection the Yogad have with their surroundings with nature and culture which until now continues to be practiced and believed with respect.
