Each of us holds many beliefs that have been passed down from our ancestors to the present. There are many beliefs that we do not know exist. originating from the native traditions of Yogad with other influences of Ilocano, Ibanag, Itawis and many more here in Echague Isabela. 

People are helped to live with dignity, respect for anyone  and love for others, make decisions, and treat others with kindness. Many local's here in Echague see signs in nature, like changes in the weather, animal behavior especially like dog's behavior, as a hint or warning. 

Some believe that dreams often say that it may have a possibility of happening in reality or that specific actions can bring badluck or goodluck. 

These beliefs may sound familiar but they are meaningful to those who have this belief and follow them. We can also say that Religion also plays a crucial role and influences our Beliefs. 

Most of the people in Echague are Catholics who pray to God, to the saints who continue to guide and protect us and give us blessings and guidance. These beliefs can bring people together-Unity. Reminding everyone to stay hopeful, faithful, and strong in times of joy or hardship.
