25th September 2020

6.30am Dylan turns on the lamp and the telly to watch some mario games being played on YouTube. Not sure what time he crawled in to bed with me or what time Gareth went to the spare room.

7.10 I get Dylan dressed and I chuck some clothes on myself before we go downstairs. Dylan reminds me to email his mario drawing in to Beano.

7.25 I rush into the kitchen to make Dylan's lunch bag. Ham sandwich, cheese and onion pringles in a container,

7.40 finish up writing the last of Dylan's reading record for the week while I grab a yogurt drink. We have to leave shortly! Dylan has been watching a new Horrid Henry movie on Netflix.

8.00 Dylan dropped off with minutes to spare, I walk home and make a note to myself to wear headphones to protect my ears when I go out again - my ears really hurt and it's a little too early for ear muffs

8.10 I make some choco snaps cereal, and note I need to clean up the kitchen. There was a work from home order (if you can) and yesterday was a day hubby should have been in the office but he is back working from home permanently. (He was on a week in office, week out at home basis) so all plans had to change for this week. He is off work today though.

8.30 sat with the telly on low watching YouTube as hubs still in bed.

8.45 mum pops in briefly and I get on with cleaning the kitchen.

9.00 hubs texts me, I go up and see him for a bit and have a chat.

9.15 I have a super long shower and wash my hair ready for work tomorrow. I hear hubs get up

9.30 I continue cleaning the kitchen.

We have an issue with WiFi on just my phone and hubs, I spend a little bit looking into it and get it fixed

I sit and have a hot chocolate and some of hubs birthday cake - it's his birthday tomorrow.

10.30 hubs has been watching The Boys on Prime, so he puts it on. I haven't been following it, so he updates me and I spend most of my time hiding my eyes at the fort bits. I don't do gore.

It's a little chilly so we are curled up under the sofa snuggle blanket.

11.49 Jump into my car...

11.55 I head out to Nan's house where we have a socially distanced catch up and Gareth goes on his computer.

1.20 I arrive back home and have some beef broth with tiger bread and some limeade that I picked up shopping yesterday on a whim lol. I look on YouTube and find a video on Holly Vlogs walking around B&M and Krystal Idunate who is doing a scrapbook page.

2.30 - Gareth leaves for a socially distanced catch up with his friends. I close the gate up and head straight out to collect Dylan from school as he leaves early.

3.05 - we arrive home he scooted home listening to Unsaid Emily. Dylan's teacher says he has been amazing all day 💕 he gets home and asks for a snack and he puts the horrid Henry movie back on after he takes his uniform off to be put in the wash. He refuses to wear any clothes for now.

We sit and have cuddles for a while just watching telly under the blanket (he's still naked).

I get up and start peeling potatoes. I get a message from mum saying she has Gareth's birthday card so I pop round to grab it and head back to the kitchen.

5.20 - we sit and eat! I have steak pie with mash and peas, Dylan has bangers, mash and peas.

Dylan has a bath for a bit while I watch Sam Woodhall on twitch and manage to catch failing_salad and Irish_Laoch in chat.

We chill out for a while, Dylan is interested in my old day in the life so we read over those while the telly is on.

8pm we head up to bed, Dylan watches a bit of YouTube with me and has cuddles.

9pm should be asleep as I have to be up at 4.50am for work (6am start) - but Dylan won't sleep. We end up going into the spare room to sleep.

9.25- finally we both go to sleep!
